Kirk contacted me to photograph his family when he was back home from the Army for the holidays. Kirk has been in the army for 3 years and during his service he has been to Iraq, OIF and OND operations and is now currently based in Georgia and he wanted to do something special for his mom, since they haven't taken any family pictures in years.
When the day finally came, I met up with Kirk and his family and I was immediately able to see all the love they had for one another. They were all joking around and you can tell that Kirk's mom was enjoying every moment of it. She was so proud of both of her kids and truly cherished the time they had together. Soon enough, they will be together again!
Kirk, it was great spending part of the day with you and your family and I'd like to thank you and all the soldiers out there for sacrificing yourselves to protect and serve our country.

My family and I had a great time. It was a first for us, filled with laughs and special moments. Hanh is what we call in the Army an "expert and a professional" and she knows how to make each session fun. Thank you very much Hanh, we'll do it again next year =)
